Race walker Mizinov from Russia grabs bronze
BERLIN, Aug 11, 2018 (BSS/TASS)-Athlete Vasiliy Mizinov from Russia competing in the neutral status has won the bronze medal in the 20km race walk at the European Athletics Championships in Berlin.
The athlete from Russia covered the distance in 1 hour and 20.50 minutes. The gold went to Spain’s Alvaro Martin (1:20:42) and the silver to his teammate Diego Garcia Carrera (1:20:48).
The 2018 European Championship is the first multi-sport event uniting different European championships and is being held between August 2 and 12 in Scotland’s Glasgow and Edinburgh as well as in Germany’s Berlin.
The European multi-event championship include competitions in such sports as swimming, open water swimming, synchronized swimming, track cycling, road cycling, mountain biking, BMX, rowing and triathlon, artistic gymnastics, athletics, diving, golf. In other media
