Speaking on the occasion, lawmaker Badsha said the gradually mounting pressure on fossil fuel could be reduced to a greater extent through boosting use of renewable energy in both rural and urban areas.

He mentioned instead of depending on only the fossil fuel emphasis should be given on enriching the renewable energy sources to face the energy challenges.

Availability of energy from different sources is vital for the present life in meeting the challenge of the ever-increasing demand for energy.

He emphasised the need for wide-ranging use of energy efficient products to reduce the existing pressure on power demands. Using energy efficient electrical appliances has become an urgent need to reduce electricity cost coupled with energy conservation which is essential for addressing the energy crisis.
