DHAKA, Aug 10, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD)
forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary
gusty wind throughout the country in next 24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty
wind is likely to occur at a few places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, Sylhet and
Chattogram divisions and at one or two places in Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and
Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls at some places across the
country during the time,” said a met office release here today.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly
unchanged over the country, it added.
Country’s highest temperature on Thursday was recorded 35.2 degree Celsius
at Dinajpur and minimum temperature today was recorded by 25 degree Celsius
at Sylhet.
Country’s highest rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am today
was recorded by 33millimiters (mm).
The sunset at 6.36pm today and rises at 5.32am tomorrow in the capital.
