RAJSHAHI, Aug 10, 2018 (BSS) – State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar
Alam, MP, said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will
remain in people’s heart forever recalling his great contribution to
country’s independence.

“The name of Bangabandhu could never be deleted from the people’s mind
till the Bangladesh will exist,” he said.

The state minister was addressing a public meeting and doa mahfil on Month
of Mourning and 43rd martyrdom anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur
Rahman on Abdul Gani college premises yesterday afternoon as the chief guest.

Earlier he laid the foundation stone of the four-storied college building
in Bagha Upazila of the district. The building will be constructed with an
estimated cost of around Taka 80 lakh.

Chaired by College Principal Prof Abdus Samad, the meeting was addressed,
among others, by local Awami League leaders Ashraful Islam, Azizul Islam,
Abdul Halim Mollah and Mojahar Hossain.

The state minister said the fugitive convicted killers of Bangabandhu and
his family members will be brought back to the country and their conviction
will be executed on this soil.

Alam said the BNP-Jamat axis has been hatching a deep-rooted conspiracy
against the pro-liberation forces to foil the next general election.

He urged Awami League leaders and workers to be united to thwart all the
anti-nation conspiracies.

He said Awami League government would come to power once again as the
people would re-elect the party for continuing the ongoing development spree
and improving their living standard.

He also said whenever Awami League comes to power people get the chance of
uplifting their socio-economic condition.
