BFUJ, DUJ leaders meet information minister

DHAKA, Aug 9, 2018(BSS)-Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, MP, today said that the journalists, who got injured while covering the recent “road safety” movement, would be provided treatment free of cost.

“Those persons who are responsible in the attack on journalists would be taken to task immediately’ he said.

The minister was talking to a delegation of journalists that included BFUJ-Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists president Mollah Jalal and DUJ-Dhaka Union of Journalists president Abu Zafar Surjo.

The delegation was accompanied by general secretaries and other office bearers.

State Minster for Information Advocate Tarana Halim and Information Secretary Abdul Malek and other high officials of the information ministry were also present at the meeting held at the conference room of the ministry.

The meeting resolved that all should work together to build the nation in the spirit of the Liberation War.
