DHAKA, Aug 9, 2018 (BSS)- The Bangladesh national cricket team returned home this morning following their victories in both the three-match ODI and T20I series against West Indies.

Although Bangladesh began the tour of West Indies on a frustrating losing both the Test but they fought back to clinch the ODI series 2-1 over West Indies win away from home in nine years.

In the T20I series, Bangladesh lost the first T20 by seven wickets in Duckworth Lewis method at Basseterre while Powered by half-centuries from Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan, which was backed up by an excellent final over from Nazmul Islam, Tigers tied the three-match series after winning the second match by 12 runs in Lauderhill.

The Tigers once again made nation proud after winning the series deciding third and final T20 beating West Indies by 19 runs in Duckworth Lewis method also held at the same venue.

The Tigers’ next assignment is the Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates. Bangladesh will take on Sri Lanka in the tournament opener on September 15.
