Nasim thanks students for going back to classes

DHAKA, Aug 7, 2018 (BSS) – Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed
Nasim today expressed his gratitude to students for going back to classrooms
after assurance of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

“I am grateful to the students for joining their classes accepting the
assurance given by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,” he said while addressing a
function arranged at Aziz Cooperative Market in city’s Shahbagh for unveiling
a book titled, ‘Robindranatha Thakurer Chikitsa Bhabna’ written by political
researcher Subhash Singha Roy.

As part of the students’ demand for safe road, Nasim said, the cabinet
yesterday approved a draft of ‘Road Transport Act (RTA) 2018′.

“This is a pro-people government…it always works for the betterment of
people. And our Prime Minister handled the situation with motherly
affection,” he said.

Nasim, also the presidium member of Awami League, said the government
accepted students’ legal demand and now is working to meet those.

Former vice-chancellor of Dhaka University Prof Dr AK Azad Chodhury, BSMMU
vice-chancellor Dr Kanak Kanti Barua, Bangladesh Pharmacy Council vice-
president M Mosaddek Hossain, columnist Syed Abul Maksud and journalist and
author Anisul Haque were, among others, present on the occasion.
