DHAKA, Aug 7, 2018 (BSS) – The Parliamentary Committee on Public Accounts today recommended settling six audit objections in the annual audit reports of the comptroller and auditor general (CAG) in fiscal 2010-’11 on the accounts of Health Engineering Department (HED) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The committee made the recommendation at its 90th meeting held at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban with its Chairman Dr. Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir in the chair, said an official release.
The meeting reviewed six audit objections on the accounts of the HED in 2010-11 fiscal and its previous fiscals involving Taka 6,42,16,933 and suggested settling those as per the guidelines made by the parliamentary body.
Committee members Panchanan Biswas, Dr. Md. Rustum Ali Faraji, Md. Shamsul Haque Tuku and Begum Rebeka Momin attended the meeting.
CAG Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury and senior officials of the Health Ministry, audit office and JS were present at the meeting.
