DHAKA, Aug 6, 2018 (BSS) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed
deep shock and sorrow at the death of Principal Mohammad Ismail, president of
Hathazari Upazila Awami League (AL) of Chattogram.
In a condolence message, the prime minister recalled with profound respect
the contributions of Principal Ismail, also a former Hathazari upazila
chairman, in organizing the party in the upazila after the assassination of
the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in 1975.
Sheikh Hasina, also the AL president, conveyed profound sympathy to the
bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
