DHAKA, Aug 6, 2018 (BSS)- Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon today
said BNP-Jamaat are spreading rumors of killing and rape on Awami League
president’s political office to take advantage capitalising on students’
movement demanding safe roads.
“It is pre-planned…BNP-Jamaat men are hatching conspiracy to mislead
the students who are waging movement for safe roads,” he said in a statement
issued today.
Menon, also Workers Party President, said BNP-Jamaat intended to use the
students’ movement as a political weapon to make political benefits.
Menon hoped that students would understand the ill motive of BNP-Jamaat
and return to their classrooms as the government had already accepted their
demands.
