Miscreants spreading rumors to mislead students: Menon
DHAKA, Aug 05, 2018 (BSS) – Social Welfare Minister and Workers Party President Rashed Khan Menon today said political miscreants are out to spread rumors of killing and rape to mislead the students who are waging movement for safe roads.
“The students’ movement is unique. Now it is time to go back to classrooms as political miscreants are spreading rumors to mislead the students,” he told a meeting with managing committee of Shantibagh School and College at his own residence.
Shantibagh School and College Managing Committee President Sheikh Sekendar Ali chaired the meeting.
Menon urged the teachers and guardians to bring back the students to classrooms. The minister also called for removing irregularities in the education sector along with the transport sector.
He expressed his optimism that authorities of the education sector and teachers will play responsible role for the betterment of education taking lesson from the students’ movement.
