BNP trying to create trouble where there was none: Inu

KUSHTIA, Aug 04, 2018(BSS)-Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, MP, said today that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had taken strong steps to realize the 9-point charter of demand of the children who were engaged in a movement for road safety.

He said that the government was trying its utmost to resolve the problems faced by common people, it was not fair, on the part of certain quarters, to blame the government alone for the current state of affairs.

The minister was speaking at a function at Mirpur Health Complex where he was handing over ambulances and exchanging views with the management committee of the hospital.

Responding to a question by journalists regarding BNP leader Barrister Moudood Ahmed’s comment that the government should “wait” for a “mass eruption”, he said that BNP was not willing to understand that the government had resolved the problem already.

“They are trying to create trouble where there was none, “he said. “This was pointless, “he added.

“BNP had nothing else apart from the release of convicted Khaleda Zia and pleading for under trial accused, Tareque Zia, as their politics, “he said.

Local elites and leaders of the minister’s party Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JASHOD) were present during the meeting.
