DHAKA, Aug 1, 2018 (BSS) – The new central committee of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) was announced on Tuesday night naming Rezwanul Haque Chowdhury Shovon and Golam Rabbani as president and general secretary respectively.
After having approval from Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Party General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader declared the BCL central body which to perform for next two years.
The announcement was given at Prime Minister’s official residence Ganabhaban here.
Quader also announced the BCL committees of Dhaka University, Dhaka city (Mohanagar) south and north units. Saddam Hussain and Sanjit Chandra Das have been declared as president and general secretary respectively for the Dhaka university unit of BCL.
Besides, Mohammad Ibrahim and Saidur Rahman Hridoy got the posts of president and general secretary of Dhaka (north) unit while Mehedi Hasan and Mohammad Jobayer Ahmed were chosen as president and general secretary of Dhaka (south) BCL.
” The full committee of BCL will be announced soon,” Quader added.
