DHAKA, Aug 1, 2018 (BSS) – A Dhaka court today put Masum Billah, driver of Jabal-e-Noor Paribahan, bus that crushed two college students to death on July 29 on Airport Road, on seven-day remand.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate HM Toha passed the order after holding hearing on a remand plea submitted by detective branch inspector Qazi Shariful Islam.
The reckless driver rammed a group of students of Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment College as they were waiting beside road to catch transport after college.
Diya Khanam Mim and Abdul Karim Rajib died instantly and 10 others were injured in the incident.
Md Jahangir, father of Mim, lodged a case with Airport Police Station in this regard.
