ASL leaders vow to build Sonar Bangla foiling conspiracies

RANGPUR, July 28, 2018 (BSS) – Leaders of Bangladesh Awami Swechchasebak League (ASL) at a discussion here have vowed to build Bangabandhu’s ‘Sonar Bangla’ by foiling all conspiracies under leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh
Hasina.

They took the vow at a discussion jointly arranged by the district and city units of ASL on Friday afternoon to observe the 24th founding anniversary of ASL on Public Library premises as part of daylong programmes
chalked out on the occasion.

The programmes included hoisting of the national and party flags on party office premises, placing wreaths at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Bangabandhu Mural premises and
discussion.

Leaders of the district and city units of ASL, Awami League (AL) and its associate bodies participated in the programmes.

With President of district unit of ASL Sirajul Islam Pramanik in the chair, Acting President of district AL Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed attended the discussion as the chief guest.

General Secretary of district AL Advocate Rezaul Karim Raju, President of city AL Shafiur Rahman Shafi and its General Secretary Tushar Kanti Mandal, President of district ASL Dhanojeet Ghosh Taposh, President of city ASL Ataur
Zaman Babu, Convener of district Jubo League Kamruzzaman Shahin and President of district Chhatra League Mehedee Hasan Rony, among others, addressed.

The speakers said the defeated forces of 1971, killers of 1975, August 21 grenade attackers and BNP-Jamaat clique were hatching conspiracies and trying to destabilise the country to hinder advancement of the nation on the highway
of development.

Sirajul Islam Pramanik said the conspirators started hatching conspiracies since their defeat in 1971 to destroy independence, sovereignty, democracy and spirit of the War of Liberation through creating anarchy, militancy and
terrorism.

Advocate Rezaul Karim Raju called upon leaders and workers of ASL, AL and its all associate bodies to foil all conspiracies and root out the anti-liberation forces, terrorism and militancy to further accelerate the pace of
national development.

Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed suggested leaders and workers of AL and its associate bodies to speed up organisational activities for bringing AL to power again by winning the next general elections foiling all conspiracies to build a
developed Bangladesh.
