DHAKA, Oct 29, 2017 (BSS) – Leaders of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists’ (BFUJ) demanded for immediate announcement of the 9th wage board for enhancement of salary scale for journalists and employees of the media industry by the government.
The leaders made the call from an executive committee meeting of journalists’ body on Friday in Mymensingh, said a press release here today.
The media staff are passing their days with dire socio-economic condition because of the hike in the commodity price after the new pay scale of government service holders, they said.
