DHAKA, July 25, 2018 (BSS) – Railways Minister Md Mujibul Haque today said high speed bullet trains will run on different routes of the country aiming to improve its communication networks.
“Bangladesh Railway (BR) will operate bullet trains on Dhaka-Chittagong, Dhaka-Sylhet, Dhaka-Rajshahi and Dhaka-Payra routes,” he told a discussion on the Railways at the Deputy Commissioner Conference at the Cabinet Division, an official release said.
Mujibul said the government will construct necessary infrastructures for smooth movement of bullet trains that will help bring a significant change in the communication sector.
Railway Secretary Md Mofazzel Hossain and Director General of Railway Department Md Amjad Hossain, among others, were present at the discussion.
