DHAKA, July 25, 2018 (BSS) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today gave
financial assistance of Taka three crore and 85 lakh to two organisations and
seven individuals including Nazrul song exponent and researcher Khalid
Hossain.
The prime minister handed over the cheques for the amount among them at a
simple function at her office here this morning.
She gave donation of Tk two crore to Dharmarajik Bouddha Mohabihar at
Sabujbag in Dhaka and Tk one crore to Naba Shalban Bouddha Bihar at Kotbari
in Cumilla.
The prime minister gave financial assistance of Tk 25 lakh to Rina Rani
Sarkar, wife of late Ranjit Chandra Sarkar of Azimpur Government Colony in
Dhaka and Tk 10 lakh to Nazrul song exponent Khalid Hossain.
Besides, Kamal Hossain Chowdhury, son of late Advocate Badiul Alam
Chowdhury, a politician of Cox’s Bazar, Faruk Ahmed, son of late Fazlul Haque
of Sarishabari in Jamalpur, ATM Golam Mostafa, son of late Md Nabiruddin
Pramanik of Bogra Sadar in Bogra, Begum Khurshid Jahan, wife of Rahim Shah of
Khilgaon in Dhaka and Mosammat Nurunnnhar, wife of late Moinul Hasan of
Kotwali in Barisal received Tk 10 lakh each from the premier.
