DHAKA, July 23, 2018 (BSS) – Education Minister Narul Islam Nahid today sought cooperation of journalists for accelerating the pace of development of education sector.
“Both print and electronic media could play an important role in the education sector through practicing objective journalism,” he made the comment when a delegation of Education Reporters Association of Bangladesh called on the Education Minister at his office here, an official release said.
Nahid urged journalists to practice objective journalism for well-being of the country and its people.
During the meeting, he said, the government is working to bring non-government educational institutions under Monthly Payment Order (MPO).
Nahid said, “Two committees of the Education Ministry are working to enlist non-government educational institutions into the MPO facilities. The government is very sincere to bring the teachers under MPO facilities.”
