RAJSHAHI, July 23, 2018 (BSS) – Admission test for the first year
honours classes in 2018-19 academic session of Rajshahi University (RU) will
be held from October 22 to 23.
To this end, distribution of admission forms will start from September 1
and will continue till September 10. Only the students who passed their HSC
and its equivalent examinations in 2017 and 2018 can apply for the entry test.
RU Pro-VC Prof Ananda Kumar Shaha disclosed this to the journalists
after holding a meeting of admission sub-committee yesterday.
He said the meeting took some important decisions relating to fixing the
date of admission test, application capability and faculty-wise unit
division.
Prof Shaha also said there will be no MCQ based admission test this
year. A 100-mark test will be held in one and half hours time. On the basis
of results obtained in SSC and HSC examinations, 16,000 students will be
allowed to take part in each of five units’ entry test.
Result of the two-day admission test will be published by November 15
and admission process will start from November 25. Classes of the newly
admitted students will start from January 21 next year, Prof Shaha added.
