Afghan VP Dostum arrives in Kabul after more than year in exile: AFP
KABUL, July 22, 2018 (BSS/AFP) – Afghan Vice President Abdul Rashid Dostum returned to Kabul to a hero’s welcome on Sunday, more than a year after fleeing the country during a probe into the rape and torture of a political rival.
Scores of senior government officials and supporters gathered at the Afghan capital’s airport to greet the powerful ethnic Uzbek leader and former warlord.
