CUMILLA,DAKSHIN (BSS)- At least two motorcyclists were killed on the spot following a road accident at Siddirganj area on Dhaka-Chattogram highway this afternoon as the bike riders were returning to the capital from their village home after the Eid-ul Fitr holiday.
The deceased were identified as Sujan,30, son of Mizanur Rahman from Joan village of Chandina upazila and Faisal,27, son of Serajul Islam of the same village.
“These two persons were killed on the spot when a pickup hit from behind their bike on Dhaka-Chattogram highway at around 12pm,”confirmed by highway police sergeant Rahmat Ullah.
Police recovered bodies and took them to the Siddirganj police station. A case has also been filed with the concerned police station.
