Epoch-making success achieved in female education: Ranga

RANGPUR, July 22, 2018 (BSS) – State Minister for LGRD and Cooperatives
Mashiur Rahman Ranga, MP, has said Bangladesh has achieved an epoch-making
success in spreading female education to flourish women leadership at all
levels.

“The present government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken all
necessary steps whatever and when required to make our young generations,
including females, properly educated and qualified to lead the nation,” he
said.

Ranga said this while addressing a function after inaugurating the newly
built academic buildings of Gangachara Mohila Degree College and Gangachara
Government College in Gangachara upazila town on Saturday afternoon as the
chief guest.

Principal of Gangachara Mohila Degree College Professor Md Abul Kashem
presided over the function held at his college auditorium with participation
of the teachers, students, guardians, civil society members and elite.

The state minister narrated various steps taken for promoting quality
education and said that the present government had created a renaissance in
spreading female education through making the same free up to the degree
level.

“Prime Minster Sheikh Hasina has put special importance on ensuring
congenial academic atmosphere by building necessary infrastructures and
improving facilities at the educational institutions to make the future
citizens educated,” he said.

General secretary of Rangpur city unit of Jatiya Party SM Yasser,
Gangachara Upazila Chairman Asaduzzaman Bablu, Upazila Nirbahi officer Syed
Enamul Kabir, officer-in-charge of Gangachara Model Thana Mashiur Rahman,
addressed the function.

Later, Ranga inaugurated construction works of the new building of Pashchim
Nabindas Barobari Jam-e-Mosque and Joydeb Purbopara Kawrafanda Jam-e-Mosque
in Gangachara upazila.
