DHAKA, April 17,2021(BSS) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death Awami League Advisory Council member Dr. Anupam Sen’s wife Uma Sengupta.
In a condolence message, the premier prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Uma Sengupta passed away at the age of 73 at a city hospital at around 1 pm on Tuesday.
She left behind her husband, a daughter and a host of relatives, admirers and well-wishers to mourn her death.
