RAJSHAHI, May 9, 2021 (BSS) – About 100 distressed women were given humanitarian assistance as Eid gift aimed at making sure their Eid celebration through mitigating their financial constraints caused by the adverse impact of novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
Each of them was given a food package containing ten kilograms of rice, one kilogram of aromatic rice, sugar and chickpea each, one liter of edible oil and 500 grams of powder milk. They were also given a saree each.
On behalf of the Prime Minister, Boalia Ladies Club distributed the foodstuffs at Riverview Collectorate School playground today through maintaining health rules to tackle the Covid-19 spread.
Boalia Ladies Club President Runa Laila accompanied by Vice-president Tahmina Rahman and General Secretary Rukhsana Akter distributed the humanitarian support.
