HEROIN-C’NAWABGANJ
500 grams heroin recovered in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, July 20, 2018 (BSS)- Members of Border Guard Bangladesh
(BGB) recovered 500 grams of heroin from frontier Hakimpur area under
Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila last night.
Commanding officer (CO) of 53 battalion of BGB Lieutenant Colonel Sajjad
Sarwar said, acting on detective information, a patrol team of BGB from
Hakimpur border outpost raided the aforesaid area around 10:30 pm and found
the heroin in five poly bags in an abandoned room.
Later, the heroin was deposited with the Narcotics Control Department, he
said.
