RAJSHAHI, April 18, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 1,43,239 people received second doses of Covid-19 vaccines in the city and all eight districts under Rajshahi division in the last eight days since April 8.
Of them, 21,932 people including 7,901 females took the second jab today, said Dr Habibul Ahsan Talukder, Divisional Director of Health.
He also said 2,439 including 995 females received vaccines in Rajshahi city and 1,603 people including 558 females in Rajshahi district, 1,478 including 460 females in Chapainawabganj, 1,826 including 717 females in Natore and 3,998 people including 1,324 females in Naogaon have been inoculated.
Besides, a total of 2,278 persons including 815 females got vaccines in Pabna, 2,918 including 1,095 females in Sirajganj, 4,027 including 1,409 females in Bogura and 1,365 including 528 females in Joypurhat today received the vaccines, he added.
On the other hand, a total of 6,43,334 people have been vaccinated with the first dose in all eight districts of the division till today since the countrywide vaccination programme began on February 7.
Of them, 1,471 people including 591 females were inoculated today, said Dr Habibul Ahsan Talukder.
