RAJSHAHI, April 15, 2021 (BSS) – Five alleged active members of a juvenile gang were arrested on charge of their involvement in various offensive activities in the city last night.
According to the police sources the arrestees are Shamsul Haque, 19, son of Bashir Hossain, Shaon Hossain, 20, son of Biplob Hossain, Jahid Hassan, 24, son of Ruhul Amin, Maruf Hassan, 26, son of Hewel Hassan and Enamul Haque, 23, son of late Aminul Islam.
Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Commissioner Abu Kalam Siddique told BSS that they arrested them from the Upashahar area after analyzing video footage captured by a close circuit camera.
“We have installed close circuit cameras in many places to scan the troublemakers,” he added.
