Dollar changes hands in upper 112 yen range in early trade in Tokyo
TOKYO, July 19, 2018 (BSS/Xinhua) – The U.S. dollar changed hands in the
upper 112 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, largely inline with
its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.81-82 yen compared
with 112.78-88 yen in New York and 113.05-07 yen at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday in
Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1646-1646 dollars and 131.37-41 yen against
1.1634-1644 dollars and 131.33-43 yen in New York and 1.1622-1624 dollars and
131.39-43 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
