Imtiaz secures first individual gold in fencing
DHAKA, March 31, 2021 (BSS) – Fencer Mohammad Imtiaz of Bangladesh
Navy won the first individual gold in men’s epee singles event of
fencing in the Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games has begun from today
at Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium in the city’s Mirpur area.
Sagor Khan of Bangladesh Ansar bagged the silver medal in this event
while Shariful Islam of Ansar and Abdur Rahim of Border Guard
Bangladesh both bagged the bronze medal.
