Booters play practice match tomorrow

DHAKA, July 17, 2018 (BSS) – The national booters will play a preparation match against Al Mesaimeer Sports Club scheduled to be held tomorrow (Wednesday) at Mesaimeer Training Academy Ground in Qatar.

The match kicks off at 11 am (BST).

Initially the boys in red and green were supposed to play two practice matches in Qatar, but they will now be playing one match against Al Mesaimeer Club, a second-division team who finished fourth in 2017-18 season with 10 points from 11 matches.

The Bangladesh team has been in Qatar for a two-week training camp under the guidance of English coach Jamie Day, who took charge last month and has been trying to get the right combination ahead of the Asian Games and the SAFF Championship.

Meanwhile, team’s head coach Jamie Day, commenting on the rival side whom they will be facing tomorrow seems to be a very good side having number of strong players. It will be good for him to see how his boys deal with them, according to a message received here from Bangladesh Football Federation today.

The coach said they want to achieve some match fitness which the boys are needed right now and as they have a tough game tomorrow so the coach wants to see the condition of the team right now.

The English coach said the players have worked extremely hard in tough weather conditions in Qatar and he is very happy of his boy’s relentless effort.
