DHAKA, Oct 6, 2017 (BSS) – Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed deep shock at the death of office assistance of her Dhanmondi political office Md Siraj Miah.
In a condolence message, she prayed for eternal peace of departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Siraj Miah breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Bangladesh Medical College Hospital in the early hours of today at the age of 60. Miah was suffering from kidney ailments and diabetes.
He is survived by two sons, a daughter, relatives and well wishers.
His first namaz-e-janaza was held after Jummah prayers at Nayatola Eidgah ground at Maghbazar area and second janaza will be held at Awami League president’s Dhanmondi political office after Asr prayers.
Miah will be laid to rest at Azimpur graveyard.
