BCF condole death of Mahmud Us Samad Chowdhury
DHAKA, March 11, 2021 (BSS) – Bangladesh Chess Federation (BCF) expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Sheikh Russel Jatio Shishu Kishor Parisad Secretary General Mahmud Us Samad Chowdhury, MP.
In a condolence message today, all BCF executive members, chess organisers, chess arbiters and chess players expressed their deep shock at the death of Mahmud Us Samad Chowdhury and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
An Awami League lawmaker from Sylhet-3 constituency, Mahmud Us Samad Chowdhury breathed his last this afternoon due to COVID-19 illness in a city hospital at the age of 69.
