Rajnath pays tribute to Bangabandhu

DHAKA, July 15, 2018 (BSS)-Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh visited the
Bangabandhu Memorial Museum in the capital city this morning and paid his
high tribute to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

He placed a wreath on the portrait of Bangabandhu in front of the museum
and signed the visitors’ book of the museum.

“I pay my homage to late Bangabandhu and his martyred family. He will be
always remembered as a freedom fighter not only in Bangladesh but throughout
the world,” Singh wrote in the visitors’ book.

He also wrote that he was very touched to visit the home of late
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the Father of the Nation of Bangladesh.

Following the visit, the Indian home minister also expressed his profound
feeling in a post on his Tweeter account.

“Visited Bangabandhu Museum and paid tributes to the great leader and
father of the nation of Bangladesh, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Deeply moved to
see the site where he & his family members were martyred,” Singh tweeted.

He also wrote that the contribution of Bangabandhu to Bangladesh and South
Asia will always be remembered. Singh also visited Dhakeshwari Temple in the
city and offered his prayers at the temple.
