DHAKA, Feb 23, 2021 (BSS) – Mobile courts run by Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) today found mosquito larvae at 43 places and fined Taka 91,000 to the concerned owners of the places.
During the 3rd day of the special mosquito elimination drive, the DNCC mobile courts, today visited some 6,998 roads, sewers, houses, reservoirs and establishments to destroy breeding grounds of mosquitoes for protecting city dwellers from the menace, said a press release.
The courts also destroyed a total of 5,041 breeding grounds of mosquito by spraying insecticide on those places.
The drive will continue till February 28 next everyday (except Friday).
