President to return on July 19 after treatment in London

DHAKA, July 14, 2018 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid, who is undergoing
health checkup and treatment of eyes in London, will return home on July 19
revising his travel schedule, Bangabhaban officials said here today.
“The President was scheduled to come back home on July 15. But he will have
to stay there for four more days for medical tests,” a Bangabhaban spokesman
told BSS adding he was now expected to reach home on July 19 morning.
He said the 74-year old President has been suffering from Glaucoma for a
long time while Moorfields Eye Hospital and Bupa Cromwell Hospital of London
are providing him treatment for the complication since he was the Speaker of
Jatiya Sangsad.
The President left Dhaka on July 7 while a VVIP Biman Bangladesh flight
carried him to the British capital.
