Speakers for development of entrepreneurs
DHAKA, July 14, 2018 (BSS)- Speakers at a workshop today said Bangladesh needs development of entrepreneurs for ensuring sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
Development of entrepreneurs can help poverty alleviation and reach benefits of the growth to the doorstep of the people, they said while speaking at the closing session of a workshop here.
Dhaka School of Economics (DSE) organized the workshop with its governing body chairman Dr. Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad in the chair.
Haq’s Bay Automobiles Limited Managing Director Abdul Haque, Vice-Chancellor of Green University Prof Dr Md Golam Samdani Fakir, Economists Prof Dr Muhammad Mahbub Ali and Dr Jaheda Ahmad, among others, addressed it.
They said development of entrepreneurs can help create new jobs that ultimately help produce services and goods. Economic development will also be sustainable, they added.
They suggested introduction of courses on entrepreneurship economics in different universities of the country.
Kholiquzzaman handed over the prizes to students who participated in the competition on entrepreneurship economics.
