Mohammedan SC’s election to be held on March 6
DHAKA, Feb 10, 2021 (BSS)- The election of the country’s traditional Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited will be held on March 6 at La Meridian Hotel in the capital, a press release said today.
The chief election commissioner advocate ABM Riazul Kabir Kawsar announced the election schedule today at the meeting room of Supreme Court’s Bangladesh Attorney General in presence of Mohammedan’s independent chairman advocate AM Amin Uddin, club directors Mahbub Ul Anam and engineer Kabir Ahmed Bhuiyan, and club’s permanent member Fazlur Rahman Babul.
As per the schedule, the draft voter list will be published on February 22 at 10 am, hearing if any objection of draft voter list at 11 am and the final voter list will be published at 6 pm.
The nomination paper will be sold on February 24 from 2 pm to 6 pm, submission of nomination paper on March 1, nomination paper selection, hearing on objection and publication of valid candidate list on March 3.
The final valid candidate list will be published on March 4 while the election will be held on March 6 in the city’s La Meridian Hotel from 2 pm to 6 pm.
