Municipalities to be brought under automation system: Tajul
DHAKA, Feb 8, 2021 (BSS) – Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives M Tajul Islam said all the services provided by the municipalities across the country will be brought under automation system.
“The government is working to bring all civic services provided in 329 municipalities of the country under automation system,” he said.
He made the remarks after a meeting with Korean Ambassador to Bangladesh Lee Jang-Kyun at the ministry here, said a press release.
The South Korean ambassador expressed the country’s interest in jointly working with the Bangladesh government to introduce automation system in the municipality.
Mentioning that South Korea and Bangladesh have been enjoying excellent friendly relations for a long, the minister expressed optimism that the bilateral relations between the countries would be further strengthened in the days to come.
