JASHORE, Jan 27, 2021 (BSS) – A bus helper died as he fell down from the running vehicle suddenly in Charavita area on Jashore-Narail road in Bagherpara upazila of the district last night.
The deceased was identified as Md. Sirajul Islam, 45, son of Jhantu Islam, a resident of Palua village in Chaugacha upazila of the district.
Police and eyewitnesses said the accident took place around 7.00 pm when Sirajul fell down from the bus, leaving him seriously injured.
Locals rescued him and took to Jashore 250-bed general hospital where the duty doctor declared him dead.
The body was kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy.
A general diary (GD) was filed in Bagherpara thana in this connection.
