1596 death row convicts are in jails across Bangladesh
SANGSAD BHABAN, July 11, 2018 (BSS) – Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan today
said a total of 1596 death row convicts are in jails across the country.
“The number of convicts with awards of death penalty in different jails in
the country is 1596,” he told the House responding to a query made by
treasury bench lawmaker Jahan Ara Begum Surma.
He said of the death row convicts are women.
