MYMENSINGH, Jan 17, 2021 (BSS) – Mayor of Mymensingh City Corporation Ekramul Haque Teto formally inaugurated the construction work of two city roads in Maskanda area here this noon.
The roads are being constructed under infrastructural development programme of the city corporation at a cost of taka 2 crore 50 lakh.
City corporation sources said the roads are being built from Zila Parisad School to Akandha Bari and Barera to Akanda area under 17 no ward.
While addressing the inaugural function of roads construction, Teto said the city will be made as a modern and beautiful one through infrastructural development soon.
Stating about the ongoing development activities, he said the city corporation has been working to ensure citizen’s welfare.
He urged the resident of the city corporation to implement different development projects.
Information Officer of the city corporation Mahbubul Hasan Rajib, its Executive Engineer Md. Jasim Uddin, Ward Councilor Mahbub Kamal and local elite were present on the occasion.
