Following health guidelines stressed to prevent COVID-19, dengue

JAMALPUR, Jan 13, 2021 (BSS) – Speakers at a workshop underscored the need for following health guidelines and creating comprehensive awareness to prevent COVID-19 and Dengue.

Maintaining health rules including wearing facemask outside of home are must to tackle spreading coronavirus, they said.

Dengue can also be prevented by destroying breeding places of Aedes mosquitos responsible for dengue, they opined.

Health department organised the workshop for the local journalists at Dr Nazrul Islam conference room of civil surgeon office.

Senior assistant secretary, health service division, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, SM Jahangir Hossain was present in the workshop as the chief guest while civil surgeon Dr Pronoy Kanti Das in the chair.

Deputy civil surgeon Dr KM Shafikuzzaman delivered the key note papers on COVID-19 and Dengue diseases.

A total of 25 journalists of print and electronic media took part in the workshop.
