Bangladesh Employees Welfare Board (amendment) Bill places in JS
SANGSAD BHABAN, July 9, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh Employees Welfare Board (amendment) Act, 2018 bill was placed today in the Jatiya Sangsad with a view to ensure the financial benefit of the employees.
State Minister for Public Administration Minister on behalf of the PUblic Administration Syed Ashraful Islam placed the bill in the Jatiya Sangsad with Deputy Speaker Fazley Rabbi Mia in the chair.
Under the proposed act, he said if any employees expired then the family of the deceased will get the financial benefit of the joint insurance and will get other fixed financial benefit time to time recommended by the government, she said.
The government amending the act to make the financial benefit of the government employees time-befitting and easier, she added.
The state minister urged the parliament to send the bill to the parliamentary standing committee on the Public Administration Ministry for further scrutinizing within 30 days.
