Country’s daily milk production deficit is 1.52 crore liters
SANGSAD BHABAN, July 9, 2018 (BSS) – Fisheries and Livestock Minister Narayan
Chandra Chanda today said country’s daily milk production deficit in 2016-17 fiscal year
was 1,52,93,150 liters.
“Country’s daily milk production in 2016-17 fiscal year was 2, 54, 32 876 liters against
our daily demand of 4,07, 26,027 liters,” he said.
The minister said this while responding to a query made by treasury bench lawmaker M
Abdul Latif at the House here.
“Our daily milk production deficit is 1,52,93,150 liters in 2016-17 fiscal year,” he noted.
