Accident kills two, injures 30 in Gaibandha
GAIBANDHA, JULY 09, 2018 (BSS) – At least two persons were killed and 30
others injured in a collision between two buses on Bogura-Rangpur Highway in
Kalitala area under Gobindaganj upazila here this afternoon.
Locals said the accident took place when a Rangpur-bound bus collided
head on with a Rajshahi-bound bus in Kalitala area, leaving people dead on
the spot and 30 others injured.
However, the identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
On information, the fire services personnel from Gaibandha fire station
rescued the injured and sent them to Gobindaganj Upazila Health Complex and
Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.
