Ulterior motives centering sculpture a new conspiracy: Amu

DHAKA, Dec 15, 2020 (BSS) – Awami League (AL) Advisory Council
Member Amir Hossain Amu today said the exposure of ulterior motives
behind stigmatization of sculpture of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the month of victory is a sign of new
conspiracy of anti-libration forces.

“The clique, which wanted to take the country back to the ideology
of Pakistan by assassinating Bangabandhu, and its collaborators as
well as all anti-liberation forces are out to hatch new conspiracy,”
he said.

The veteran AL leader made the remarks in a greeting message to
people on the eve of the country’s 50th Victory Day to be celebrated
across the country tomorrow.

Noting that Bangabandhu wanted to build a non-communal and hunger
and poverty free Bangladesh, Amu said Bangladesh is a role model for
development under the prudent leadership of his daughter Prime
minister Sheikh Hasina.

Paying rich tribute to Bangabandhu, all martyrs of August 15
carnage, four national leaders and martyrs of the Liberation War, he
said, Bangalee nation will never forgive them who politically
established the anti-liberation forces and killers of Bangabandhu
betraying to the blood of martyrs.

Amu, also the 14-party alliance spokesperson, urged all to remain
alert about any conspiracy against the country, saying: “They
(plotters) must be resisted in a united way”.
