DHAKA, July 08, 2018(BSS) – Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu said today that culture sprang from diversity.
The minister was speaking at the National Film Award-2016 distribution ceremony at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) here.
Inu called upon the film community to resist those who oppose diversity and advocate uniformity.
The minister recalled that the Bangladesh film industry started its journey through the visionary leadership of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with the establishment of FDC in the late ’50s.
He hoped it would go even further overcoming the current technological and other challenges under the leadership of Bangabandhu’s daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
