MATLAB, July 7, 2018 (BSS)- Disaster Management and Relief Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya, Bir Bikram, today said the government would provide electricity connections to all houses.
“We will bring all houses under electricity facilities to help children educate aimed at expediting rural economy,” he said this while inaugurating a 80-kilometre electricity line as the chief guest here.
Matlab South and North Awami League leaders and workers were present at the function, according to a press release.
“Awami League came to power at a crisis moment and the party would keep its promise to provide electricity to all houses,” Maya said.
He said the government constructed many bridges and developed infrastructures across the country, adding, “Matlab South and North connecting bridge would shorten the distance between Dhaka and Matlab.”
The minister said the government is working to make Bangladesh a digital country, the release added.
