CHATTOGRAM, July 7, 2018 (BSS)- The bodies of three tourists, who went missing from Banshbaria sea beach area under Sitakundau pazila on Friday, were found dead from the same area today.
The victims were identified as Saiful, 25, Alauddin, 24, and Yeasin, 18, all rented residents of Jhautala in the city.
Saiful was a permanent resident of Mirsharai upazila of the district while Alauddin and Yeasin hailed from Kachua upazila and Shahrasti upazila respectively of Chandpur district.
Kamal Uddin, deputy assistant director of Agrabad fire service, said a joint team of coast guard, Navy and fire service recovered the bodies from 1pm to 1.30 pm.
Earlier, the three went missing in the Bay of Bengal near the sea beach after a group of 20 or 25 youths from Chattogram city went to bathe in the sea on Friday.
